EDAW was a global practice that provided landscape architectural, land and urban planning, environmental and economic planning services. During my tenure, EDAW grew from 110 employees (approximately 160 when I rejoined the firm in 1992) to over 850 with 23 offices, and expanded its branch office network to Europe, Asia and Australia. During that time, I was responsible for completing eleven acquisitions and their integration into the firm, implementing a global ownership transition program and developing the infrastructure to successfully facilitate the firm’s substantial growth while significantly increasing profitability at a faster rate than net revenue volume.
